I am passionate about food and want to pass this love on to all that participate in my classes. I believe that food preparation should be kept simple, using simple technique and fresh products, with the end result being delicious food!
My cooking experiences began as a young girl in rural Maine. My grandmother was a great cook and I still can remember the aromas and flavors that came from her kitchen. Much of what I learned came from helping her in that kitchen.
I am always looking for new recipes and food ideas and my skills have grown as the years have gone by. My structured cooking education comes from cooking classes and demonstrations that I have attended over the years. I have traveled extensively and have taken the opportunity to study and research local cuisine and have taken advantage of local cooking classes.
My goal in offering cooking classes is to be able to provide instructions to beginner and intermediate cooks in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
